Bird House: 1992 - Gilman School
This was an assignment for my 7th grade shop class: simple enough design and build a working birdhouse in your group of three. I did a lot of sketches, and decided on the only one that would really be feasible to do in wood. It's kind of a Greek temple with a big zigzag on the front, and the hole for the bird is a semicircle in the pediment. The roof is sectional and removable, so you can clean the inside. I wanted to add some more contrast, so I painted the pillars and the pins blue, which held the roof on blue.
