Vessel: 1999 - CMU Shop
This project was to teach us how to use the vacu-form process, by making a vessel intended to hold a fluid. Once again I made several concepts to satisfy my curiosity about the material and to placate the teachers, although this time the two concepts were the most similar, meaning that my original concept was both innovative and impressive enough to please the teachers. The first one I did had a big spiked tail, which was somewhat inappropriate for a school project. I spent a lot of time working on making the vessel opening look right, and trying to transcribe it into 2D. The vessels are really meant to hang from a taught string.
